IREI has learned that Westfield (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System has committed $8 million each to real estate funds managed by AEW Capital Management and TerraCap Management.
The exact names of the funds could not be gleaned at the time of publication, and the pension fund was not available for comment.
According to IREI’s FundTracker database, Westfield has invested in two previous funds by TerraCap.
The pension fund committed $8 million to the TerraCap Partners III fund in 2016, which raised $125 million at final close. The fund invested primarily in office, hospitality, multifamily and retail properties in Florida. Westfield also backed the fund’s predecessor, TerraCap Partners II, with a $5 million commitment in 2013.
