Warburg-HIH acquires logistics property

Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate GmbH has acquired two properties occupied on long-term leases from Complemus Real Estate.

The transaction includes a logistics property located in Oerlenbach, Germany, which is used as a distribution center and has a gross leasable area of 7,300 square meters (78,600 square feet) and several hundred parking spaces for cars and vans. Its completion is scheduled for summer 2021. In addition, Warburg-HIH Invest bought a parking garage near Wuppertal, Germany, on behalf of a closed-end investment limited partnership. With its roughly 10,700 square meters (115,000 square feet) of gross leasable area, the three-story building provides more than 300 van parking spots. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

The logistics property in Oerlenbach, near Schweinfurt, is the 10th asset held in the Warburg-HIH Deutschland Logistik Invest fund, an open-end special AIF that invests exclusively in German logistics real estate. So far, the
