VoltH2, the subsidiary of Vision Hydrogen Corp. has partnered with Virya Energy to develop a 25-megawatt green hydrogen plant, located in the North Sea Port of Terneuzen in the Netherlands.
At 25 megawatts, the plant initially will produce as much as to 3.5 million kilograms of green hydrogen per year, and will be able to scale up to 75 megawatts, or 10.5 million kilograms of hydrogen output.
VoltH2 said the project site is near existing high-voltage power and gas infrastructure, as well as large renewable power-producing assets.
The initial phase of the project is estimated to cost €35 million to €40 million ($39.5 million to $45.1 million).
