by Andrea Waitrovich

Verizon Communications has unveiled plans for a new corporate campus in Las Colinas, a submarket of Irving, Texas.

The project will add millions of square feet of office, residential, retail, hotel and green space to the city.

The 110-acre mixed-use development, called Hidden Ridge, will include a 1.2 million-square-foot campus for the Irving-based headquarters of Pioneer Natural Resources, another 1.5 million square feet of corporate office space, a 200-room full-service hotel, 1,200 apartments or residences, 80,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, and a 2-acre green space with amenities.

Developer KDC is building Pioneer Natural Resources’ new headquarters and Verizon is in talks with other developers for the retail, hotel and apartment portions of the Hidden Ridge project, according to media sources.
