Vauban Infrastructure Partners, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, has collected €2.5 billion ($3 billion) for its Core Infrastructure Fund III (CIF III).
The fund was oversubscribed, bringing in commitments from major international investors, including insurance companies and pension funds from 12 different countries in Europe and Asia.
Like the two previous funds in the series, CIF III follows a buy-and-hold strategy, investing in the mid-cap market, mainly in European brownfield assets. The fund series targets four main sectors: mobility, energy transition, social infrastructure and digital.
