Vantage Data Centers has received the green light to deliver a two-story data center in Newport, Wales, according to Data Center Dynamics.
The Newport City Council issued a notice of decision on March 3, granting Vantage permission to proceed with the two-story data center.
The 24,000-square-foot facility, which includes 10 data halls, is intended for a single hyperscale customer.
Vantage Data Centers is active in both Europe and the United States. Within Europe, the company has a presence in Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland and Switzerland, according to Vantage’s website.
