USS Investment Management, an investment management company for the Universities Superannuation Scheme, has appointed Alex Turner as head of property, overseeing a $5 billion real estate portfolio.
Turner, who has served as deputy head of property since 2005, replaces Graham Burnett, who will retire from the U.K. pension fund after leading the property team since 2006. Turner has also served as fund manager, offices, for the Universities Superannuation Scheme, according to his LinkedIn.
USS Investment Management offers financial planning, investment strategies and advisory services for customers in the United Kingdom.
