US Solar Fund has brought its portfolio of 61 megawatts of utility-scale solar portfolios in Oregon online, according to several news reports.
US Solar Fund purchased the portfolio of four then-under construction photovoltaic parks from Southern Current in February, bringing the company’s total utility-scale solar asset count to 37 sites.
The parks are now fully operational and are selling electricity under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with utility Portland General Electric, according to Renewables Now. The PPAs have an average term of 11.2 years with fixed annual percentage increases.
With the commissioning, US Solar Fund now has 276-megawatt DC of utility-scale solar capacity in operation and some 167-megawatt DC of projects in advanced construction scheduled to come online by the end of the year.
