Update: MIRA in talks to buy Goldman Sachs-owned AirTrunk

A mere month after hitting the market, AirTrunk, a technology company that develops and operates data centers, may already have a buyer.

According to Bloomberg, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), the infrastructure arm of Macquarie Group, is in advanced talks to buy the technology company in a deal that could fetch more than A$3 billion ($2.1 billion).

The auction was initially announced in December 2019.

AirTrunk is owned by Goldman Sachs, TPG Sixth Street Partners and other private equity investors. The company has data centers in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore, where it is headquartered.
