University of Vermont $100m plans PPP for new apartment complex

by Andrea Zander

The University of Vermont (UVM) has plans to partner with AAM 15 Management to build undergraduate housing on the east side of its main campus.

The project is estimated to be $100 million.

Catamount Woods will accommodate approximately 540 undergraduate students in apartments near the southern edge of Centennial Woods.

“Building new housing is a top priority for the university,” said Suresh Garimella, UVM president. “Catamount Woods will provide another attractive residential option for hundreds of our upper-level undergraduate students, offering them an opportunity to live on campus and enhancing the vibrancy of our community.” The project aims to break ground in early 2024 with a goal to be finished by the fall 2025 semester.
