The $10.2 billion University of Michigan has committed $50 million to Westbrook Real Estate Fund X, according to recent meeting documents.
The value-added fund, managed by Westbrook Partners, is looking to raise $2.5 billion, with leverage below 50 percent. It will invest in Western Europe, the United States and Japan.
The Westbrook fund has received commitments from the Maine Public Employees Retirement System, the New York State Common Retirement Fund, the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System, the
