by Release

UBS Asset Management’s (UBS-AM) Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) business has appointed Rodolphe Brumm as a portfolio manager on its infrastructure equity team, based in London and effective immediately.

Brumm will be responsible for activities supporting the origination, analysis and execution of infrastructure equity investment opportunities across Europe. He joins REPM’s wider infrastructure platform, which has in excess of €4 billion ($4.6 billion) of assets under management in debt and equity strategies.

Brumm joins UBS-AM with more than 18 years of investment experience globally. He is relocating to London from San Francisco where he spent the past two years acting as senior adviser to NextWorld Evergreen Fund, a family office, where he advised on investment strategies in the infrastructure services and technology space. Prior to this, he was a managing director at Ardian investment house, where he lead the acquisition team for energy and transportation investments, and was co-founder of Cube Infrastructure, a €1 billion ($1.14 billion) fund based in Paris. He also held roles at Vinci Concessions, UBS Investment Bank and BNP Paribas in Paris, London and Hong Kong, respectively.

“Rodolphe is a high-caliber candidate whose wealth of international expertise will support the growth of REPM’s wider multi-billion dollar fund business,” said

Perry Offutt, head of infrastructure Americas at UBS-AM REPM. “The infrastructure sector is constantly evolving as an investable asset class in line with the increasing demand for institutional exposure to it; we need the best team in place across our key markets to allow us to identify and swiftly execute the global investment opportunities available, in order to build an attractive portfolio of assets that provide long term stable income for our clients.”
