UBS Asset Management appoints Darren Rabenou to agriculture, ESG roles

Darren Rabenou has been named head of food and agriculture and head of ESG investment strategies, covering real estate, infrastructure, private equity and agriculture at UBS Asset Management’s (UBS-AM) real estate and private markets (REPM) business.

These are both new roles within the firm.

Based in New York City, Rabenou will report to Joe Azelby, head of REPM. In his new role as head of food and agriculture, Rabenou will drive new initiatives to help meet growing investor interest in agriculture and will integrate UBS-AM’s farmland strategy into the food and agriculture client offering.
