TWG has plans to develop McDowell Point, a new $ 62.38 million, active-adult community in Naperville, Ill. This will be TWG’s first development in the greater Chicago area, as well as the first active-adult project in the state of Illinois.
The new 3.4 million-square-foot, five-story residential complex at 1420 West Diehl Road will comprise 174 units ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments. As an active-adult sharing community, McDowell Point will reserve 80 percent of its residential units for renters aged 55 and over. The property will be located near McDowell Grove Natural Park, a major shopping, dining and entertainment center.
The new development will feature 6,000 square feet of convenience space, including a pool and hot tub, yoga lawn and barbecue stations for tenants.
Completion is slated for June 2023.
