The $139.7 billion Teacher Retirement System of Texas has committed to $150 million to a core open-end fund managed by Invesco Real Estate.
The pension fund invested in Invesco U.S. Income Fund, which invests in well-leased multifamily, office, retail and industrial assets located in major U.S. markets and coastal regions.
In other news, TRS recently appointed Jerry Albright as its new CIO.
