The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG) has acquired Haut Vannier SAS, a 43-megawatt wind farm project currently under construction in France. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The U.K.-based company also has acquired the right to construct the wind park in France’s Grand Est region.
The project will be developed and installed by Envision and Velocita. Renewable Energy Systems will provide asset owner engineer services during the construction period. Construction has commenced already and is expected to wrap up in first quarter 2022.
Once constructed, the project will represent 1 percent of TRIG's portfolio value on a committed investment basis. Following this acquisition, 10 percent of TRIG's assets will be under construction.
