Tri Global Energy leads clean energy build-out in Texas

Tri Global Energy, a U.S. originator and developer of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects, remained the largest developer of wind energy in Texas during the second quarter of 2021, with 26.4 percent of the market.

The company is the only one commanding more than a 20 percent share of Texas wind energy under construction and in advanced development.

Tri Global Energy also closed financing on nearly 1 gigawatt of four onshore renewable energy projects in Indiana during the second quarter of the year.

The projects represent both wind and solar assets, including the 200-megawatt Blackford Wind, 150-megawatt Blackford Solar, 180-megawatt Hoosier Line Wind and 400-megawatt Honey Creek Solar plus energy storage.
