TPG Angelo Gordon and Horizon Realty Advisors have sold Live on Hillsborough, a 203-unit, 376-bed student housing community serving North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C.
Built between 2013 and 2019, Live on Hillsborough is a boutique student housing community comprising six buildings and 376 beds across two prime, pedestrian-to-campus locations on Hillsborough Street. The property features 102 beds immediately adjacent to campus on Hillsborough Street above North Campus, and 274 beds located less than half a mile east. At the time of sale, the community was 93 percent occupied.
The property is positioned to serve North Carolina State University. With enrollment projected to grow by 4,000 students through 2030, the university’s strong fundamentals will continue to drive demand for well-located, high-quality housing.
