Three Irish wind projects achieve financial close

Black & Veatch Europe’s renewable energy business has completed technical due diligence for three wind farms in Ireland: the Black Lough onshore wind farm as well as the Three Trees and Enros wind farms, which are all sponsored by SMR.

Black & Veatch was working on behalf of ING Bank, a branch of ING-DiBa AG, a major backer of renewable energy and sustainability projects globally. The company’s due diligence team encompassed environmental consulting, civil and electrical engineering evaluations, and digital wind yield analytics, according to a statement from Black & Veatch. The team provided ING with a full technical assessment of the project’s sustainability, buildability and profitability.
