Therme Group, a company specializing in well-being infrastructure development and operations, has reached an agreement with Sculptor Real Estate for a growth investment of up to €245 million ($254 million), which will support the group's two flagship well-being resorts in Europe.
An initial tranche of funding has been deployed, and additional capital may be distributed subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions to fund the development of Therme Manchester, the United Kingdom’s first large-scale well-being destination, as well as other expansion opportunities.
Therme Manchester is a €500 million ($519 million), 28-acre project in greater Manchester. It will feature thermal and mineral pools, botanical gardens, water experiences, fitness and wellness spaces and cultural programming in an effort to bring large-scale urban well-being to the community.
