The U.K.’s Golden Triangle experiences record life science investment demand

The Golden Triangle, the area spanning London, Cambridge and Oxford, experienced the highest first-quarter investment total on record in terms of life science real estate.

Investment into commercial real estate for the United Kingdom’s life sciences sector in the Golden Triangle totaled more than £496 million ($624 million) in first quarter 2023, according to Knight Frank. This represents the highest first quarter investment total on record for the life sciences sector and the best quarter for investment since fourth quarter 2021.

London represented the largest share of investment activity in the Golden Triangle, making up 79 percent  of the total.
