The Opus Group has announced the start of construction on a speculative industrial building in Merrillville, Ind. Located one mile from Interstate 65 with easy access to a full interchange at U.S. Hwy. 30, the 289,000-square-foot building can accommodate both warehouse and distribution tenants.
The building is on a 37-acre site at 8700–8900 Mississippi St. In addition to a convenient location between Chicago and Indianapolis on the Interstate 65 corridor, 44 miles southeast of Chicago, tenants will benefit from the development’s close proximity to many restaurants, hotels and corporate users.
