Texas Teachers commits $304m to infrastructure opportunities

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS of Texas) has committed $150 million to Tallvine Middle Market Infrastructure Fund I (TMMIF I) and $150 million to Tython, as well as $4 million to Tallvine Emerald Management Holdings.

TMMIF I is managed by Tallvine Partners Management, an independent investment firm focused on operationally geared, value-added investing in middle-market infrastructure, and will make investments in the United States.

Tallvine Emerald Management Holdings makes opportunistic investments within the United States. Tallvine Partners Management is a new relationship for the TRS of Texas.

Tython is managed by Macquarie Infrastructure Partners and makes value-added investments in the United States.

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners invests in transportation, logistics, social infrastructure, digital infrastructure and the energy transition.
