Texas has retained the title of “Best State for Business,” according to Chief Executive’s annual survey.
54 Fortune 500 companies are headquartered in the state, including: American Airlines, ExxonMobil, Kimberly-Clark, Southwest, GameStop, Tenet Health, AllianceData, AT&T, Waste Management, and Halliburton.
Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and Indiana, round out the survey’s top five states.
