Texas firm closes fourth fund

Thackeray Partners has held a final closing for its fourth private equity fund, Thackeray Partners Realty Fund IV. The fund reached its cap of $300 million of general partner and limited partner equity commitments versus an equity target of $250 million.

Since its inception, Thackeray Partners has raised four funds with aggregate equity commitments in excess of $1 billion. Thackeray Partners Realty Fund III closed in 2012 with $225 million, and Fund II also closed in 2012 with $225 million. The series’ debut fund closed in 2005 with $170 million.

Founded in 2005, Thackeray Partners is a real estate investment management firm seeking a diversified portfolio of stabilized, value-add and development opportunities in industrial, multifamily and retail properties throughout the United States on behalf of its investment partners.
