Texas ERS commits $20m to real estate fund

The $29 billion Employees Retirement System of Texas has committed $20 million to a real estate fund, according to Meagan M. Hoffman, senior operational due diligence analyst.

The fund, which was not disclosed, is a co-investment private real estate fund.

Texas ERS has made multiple commitments to real estate funds in the second half of 2018. Some of these include $50 million each to ERS Private Real Estate Emerging Manager II, a separate account managed by Oak Street Real Estate Capital, and Horizon MH Legacy Fund II, managed by Horizon Land Co. Others include $75 million to IndoSpace Logistics Park III, managed by IndoSpace Partners, $60 million KSL Capital Partners V, managed by KSL Capital Partners, and $
