Chile’s ministry of public works is seeking bids for a Hospital public-private partnership (P3) concession in the city of Coquimbo, according to InfraPPP.
The partner will be responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of the new facilities, as well as the provision, replacement, assembly, and maintenance of medical equipment and furniture over a period of 19 years.
The hospital will consist of 668 beds and is expected to benefit 723,000 residents of the communes of La Serena, La Higuera, Vicuña and Paihuano and other benchmarks in the Coquimbo Region.
It is estimated that this project will be awarded at the end of 2021, with construction to commence during the first half of 2023. It is expected to be operational in the first half of 2026.
The deadline to submit bids is June 13.
