Spain’s Telefonica is planning to sell four data centers to Nabiax, a colocation and data center service company that operates data centers in Spain and Latin America.
Nabiax was formed in 2019 after the company’s controlling fund, Asterion Industrial Partners, acquired 11 Telefonica data centers, according to Reuters.
The four Telefonica data centers are located in Spain and in Chile, and they have a combined capacity of 9 megawatts. Following the transaction, Asterion and co-investors will keep 80 percent in Nabiax.
