Taiwan Life Insurance Co. has poured a total of $35 million into two infrastructure funds, IREI has learned.
The life insurance company committed $20 million to ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III and $15 million to Northleaf Infrastructure Capital Partners III.
ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, a $12 billion closed-end fund managed by ISquared Capital, will invest in brownfield, renewable energy, transportation and utilities in Europe and the United States. The Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System also committed $400 million to the vehicle in August.
Northleaf Infrastructure Capital Partners III, managed by Northleaf Capital Partners, opened to investors in June and is targeting direct, long-term infrastructure investments in developed markets.
