Sustainable investments is the best asset-class opportunity in private markets for 2024, according to a new survey from Natixis Investment Managers.
Thirty-five percent of institutions who took part in the survey selected sustainable investments when asked where the best opportunities for private investment lie.
Forty-three percent of institutions say they will increase their green-bonds investments in 2024.
Wealth management platforms also are seeing heightened interest in sustainable investments, with 52 percent of wealth management platforms in the survey saying that they have noticed an increase in client demand for sustainable investments.
Other findings from the report include that the democratization of private assets continues to gain steam and that private credit opportunities continue to grow as traditional lending tightens.
