Susi Partners, a Swiss fund manager specializing in clean energy infrastructure investments, has finished fundraising for its €300 million ($324 million) Susi Energy Efficiency Fund II (SEEF II).
The fund collected a total of €289 million ($312 million) in commitments from institutional investors in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
SEEF II’s fundraising total surpassed the previous fund in the series, which closed with €200 million ($216 million) in capital commitments. Marius Dorfmeister, co-CEO and global head of clients at Susi Partners, said SEEF II had a more diverse investor base than previous funds, with about half of the investments coming from new investors.
Dorfmeister also noted the firm had set the fundraising goal before the COVID-19 outbreak.
“Given the current situation, we can be very satisfied with this result and would like to thank our customers for their trust,” he said.
