Stoneweg Hospitality and Bain Capital, through their joint venture, have agreed to sell Mongibello Ibiza to Grupo Ramat, a privately held investment platform focused on hospitality, real estate and lifestyle-led assets, alongside a group of private investors.
Located in Santa Eulà ria des Riu on the Spanish island of Ibiza, the joint venture acquired Mongibello Ibiza in 2022 as part of its value-add investment strategy targeting hospitality assets with repositioning potential, in highly constrained markets. The joint venture aggregated assets for a total gross asset value (GAV) of €400 million ($456 million). Since then, the joint venture has delivered a comprehensive refurbishment and repositioning program in partnership with Concept Hotel Group.
