Stifel, a St. Louis-based full-service brokerage and investment banking firm, has lured a $217 million trio of advisers from Wells Fargo, the latest in an aggressive recruiting push that carried over from 2019, according to OnWallStreet.
The new hires include Robb Adams, Montgomery Meeks and Brad Ransom. Adams oversaw $95 million, Meeks oversaw $63 million and Ransom oversaw $59 million in client assets.
The trio follows a number of other Wells Fargo recruits that the firm has added in recent months, which include Jason Jungberg, Michael Ketterbaugh, Chip Pengram and Michael Boulos.
Just before the new year, Stifel recruited Robert Winter and Philip Meyer from Merrill Lynch and Nick Bearden from Edward Jones.
