Steven Wright hired as portfolio director for housing at LGC

Steven Wright has been hired as the portfolio director for housing at Legal & General Capital (LGC). LGC is Legal & General Group’s alternative asset platform and a leading direct investor, developer and operator in residential property.

With over 20 years of experience in managing investments and portfolios across the real estate industry, Wright will report to Simon Century, the managing director of housing.

Prior to the hire, Wright was the head of corporate investments at Fiera Real Estate, where he oversaw the firm’s investments across its portfolio of operating partners, including sourcing and restructuring, enabling growth and profitability and aiding on acquisitions, development and disposals. Wright led the firm’s build-to-rent strategy in 2017.
