Sterling Heights Police & Fire backs open-end American Core Realty Fund

by Kali Persall

The City of Sterling Heights (Mich.) Police & Fire Retirement System has approved a $4 million commitment to the open-end American Core Realty Fund, managed by Los Angeles–based American Realty Advisors.

According to recently released board meeting minutes, the commitment was approved Jan. 21.

American Core Realty Fund invests primarily in high-quality core, stabilized, income-producing properties located in or near major metropolitan markets nationwide that demonstrate growth potential and/or supply constraints.

The fund is diversified geographically, economically and by property type and acquires institutional-quality multitenant office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties in the middle-market range.
