Starwood Capital appoints new Asian head
Starwood Capital has appointed Kevin Lee as head of its real estate business in Asia.
He is returning to the firm. He joined Starwood Capital Group as an analyst in 2004. He held various positions and left the company in 2011, when he was a vice president in San Francisco. He left to join Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, serving as an investment manager and a portfolio manager until 2015.
In his most recent position, he was the managing director at Lone Star Funds in Japan. He joined Lone Star Funds in 2015 and served as a director of acquisitions for two years.
Lee graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, and began his career as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
