LaSalle Investment Management has announced that Stan Kraska, CEO of LaSalle’s global real estate securities business, will retire at year-end 2018, after more than 30 years with the firm.
As a part of the succession plan, Lisa Kaufman, managing director and North America portfolio manager, has been appointed CEO of LaSalle Securities, effective Sept. 4, 2018. At that time, Kraska will remain in an advisory role through the end of 2018 to ensure a seamless transition.
In her new role, Kaufman will have overall responsibility for the global securities group, and will join LaSalle Investment Management’s nine-person global management committee. She will retain her role as lead North America portfolio manager. Kaufman has 24 years’ experience, having joined LaSalle in 1994 and the securities group in 1998.
Also on Sept. 4, 2018, Matt Sgrizzi will become CIO for LaSalle Securities and in this capacity will partner with Kaufman in leading the securities business. He will also become a global portfolio manager with George Noon and will remain in his role as the Europe portfolio manager. Sgrizzi has 16 years’ experience at LaSalle Securities, having joined the firm in 2002.
Noon, LaSalle Securities global portfolio manager and Asia portfolio manager, will remain in his role and will continue to work closely with Kaufman and Sgrizzi to construct and manage client portfolios. Noon has 28 years’ experience at LaSalle Securities, having joined the firm in 1990.
