by Kali Persall

The St. Louis (Mo.) Employees Retirement System has slated $45 million for the IFM Global Infrastructure Fund.

Managed by IFM Investors, the evergreen IFM Global Infrastructure Fund will invest in the energy, social infrastructure, transport, and water and wastewater sectors. Pitchbook reports the fund invests between $750 million and $2 billion per transaction and is at a size of $19.7 billion.

Recent commitments have come from Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago, the State Universities Retirement System of Illinois, and the Municipal Fire and Police Retirement System of Iowa, along with a slew of other U.S. pension funds.

St. Louis could not be reached for comment on its investment activity at the time of publication.
