The two main advantages of a core-plus real estate investment strategy today are flexibility and maintaining a “young” portfolio, according to Adriana de Alcantara, senior managing director and fund manager for Hines U.S. Property Partners (HUSPP), Hines’ flagship core-plus open-end real estate fund.
