SPONSORED: EQT – Infrastructure and the energy transition

by Jennifer Babcock

As investors consider opportunities to invest in infrastructure that furthers energy transition, it can be tricky to understand the nuances between various geographical, geopolitical and even technological environments, according to Alex Darden, president of EQT Partners Inc. and partner and head of EQT Infrastructure Advisory Team Americas. “Historically, Europe has been ahead of the United States in the speed at which it is transitioning to a more sustainable energy mix, but U.S. public policy has made a recent push with the passing of multiple bills that provide subsidies, which will spur investments in the expansion of clean-energy suppliers and users, and the necessary supporting infrastructure,” says Darden, in an interview published in the December issue of Institutional Investing in Infrastructure.
