“SFR offers meaningful diversification relative to traditional sectors [and] benefits from being at an earlier stage of adoption,” said Flahive in the interview. “As allocations increase, we expect the [SFR] asset class to transition from ‘alternative’ to ‘core,’ ultimately sitting alongside multifamily and industrial as a foundational component of diversified real estate portfolios.”
