South Korea’s NPS posts 9.7% return for 2020

South Korea’s National Pension Service (NPS), the world’s third-largest pension fund, has posted an annual return of 9.7 percent in 2020, according to Reuters.

In 2019, NPS logged a 11.3 percent return, its highest on record since 1999. At the end of 2020, NPS had approximately 833.7 trillion won ($750.39 billion) in assets.

The posting comes as NPS actively increases its push into real assets, having announced three major partnerships in December 2020.
