by Andrea Zander

South Korea-based Meritz Alternative Investment Management has plans to invest in an office building in Washington, D.C., reported Korea Economic Daily.

Meritz formed a ₩200 billion ($170 million) property fund to buy a 50 percent stake in the 665 New York Avenue building.

Brookfield Properties completed the 12-story building in 2019. About 93 percent of the property is leased, with major tenants including Brookfield, UnitedHealthcare and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
