South Carolina Retirement System allocates $100m to Crow Holdings Realty Partners fund

The South Carolina Retirement System has approved a commitment of up to $100 million to Crow Holdings Realty Partners IX, a value-add fund managed by Crow Holdings Capital Partners.

Crow Holdings Realty Partners IX targets the multifamily, convenience and gas station, industrial, retail, self-storage, and student-housing sectors.

IREI understands South Carolina closed the investment last week. The pension fund could not be reached to comment on its recent investment.

Other investors in the fund include the Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana, the New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, the State Universities Retirement System of Illinois and the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
