Skanska has sold a new 5,000-square-meter (53,819-square-foot) office building under construction in central Karlskrona, Sweden. Vacse paid about SEK 250 million ($24 million) for the building.
The building will mainly house the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning’s new headquarters. It will be BREEAM certified and WELL certified, and it meets the Housing Authority's requirements for energy class A. The goal is for the project to be classified as climate neutral upon completion.
Construction is currently under way, and the transfer of ownership to Vacse will take place in connection with completion in the second quarter of 2025.
