The $2.7 billion San Joaquin County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement Association is searching for a real estate consultant, according to an RFP posted on the pension fund’s website. The RFP was issued on Nov. 3.
The pension fund is requesting proposals from real estate consultants concerning the management of its real estate investment program. The consultant will provide oversight and administration to the pension fund’s real estate portfolio, conduct searches for real estate managers and oversee those managers in conjunction with staff, according to the RFP. The real estate consultants must have experience in the institutional and public pension fund area.
Courtland Partners is SJCERA’s current consultant; however, it was not disclosed if the firm is invited to rebid.
The deadline for submitting proposals is Dec. 1. The board plans to announce its final selection at its January 2018 board meeting. The full RFP can be found
