Shorenstein Properties sells Denver property

Shorenstein Properties has sold Denver City Center, a LEED Gold certified property consisting of two adjacent office buildings and located in the heart of downtown Denver, to an unnamed institutional investor. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“Over the past several years, we have dramatically enhanced the tenant experience at Denver City Center, resulting in strong leasing activity and increased occupancy,” said John Boynton, senior vice president at Shorenstein Properties. “Shorenstein is proud to have positioned the property for future success and is confident that it will continue to fulfil tenant demand under new ownership.”

The first building is 707 17th Street, a 42-story tower that includes the 20-floor Hilton Denver City Center hotel (not a part of the sale) and 22 floors of office space. The second building, known as Johns Manville Plaz
