ShopOne Centers REIT has hired Chris Reed as executive vice president of acquisitions.
Reed, who comes to ShopOne after serving as vice president, acquisitions and development, for Brixmor since 2015, will begin his new position on Aug. 1.
At Brixmor, Reed was responsible for overseeing the acquisition and disposition investment platform in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, driving the region’s pipeline of deal flow and the process surrounding originations, including identifying and qualifying target markets, formulating investment strategies and leading the underwriting and due diligence process for prospective acquisitions. In his time at Brixmor, he has led more than 35 investment transactions with an aggregate value of more than $650 million. Prior to joining Brixmor, Reed served as director of capital transactions at WP Realty, where he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and financing of all prospective acquisitions, as well as the evaluation and compl
