Sensys Gatso Group wins competitive bid to provide automated traffic enforcement in Iowa

Sensys Gatso Group, a provider of automated traffic enforcement solutions, has executed a five-year base-term automated school zone speed enforcement contract with the City of Marion, Iowa, through a competitive bid process. The contract is estimated to be worth up to $4.1 million.

The program, which is expected to begin in late June, will include fixed red light and speed on green systems, as well as a mobile speed vehicle.

Sensys Gatso currently services the majority of cities in Iowa with automated traffic enforcement (ATE) programs and now has 12 contracted automated traffic enforcement programs in the state. It offers a robust analytical program which will aid in tracking effectiveness of the ATE program.
