The Seattle City Employees’ Retirement System (SCERS) is seeking an investment officer to contribute to the stewardship of a $3.5 billion investment portfolio.
According to a job posting listed on LinkedIn, the investment officer will be primarily focused on researching investment strategies, conducting due diligence on investment managers and monitoring the portfolio, which is diversified by asset class and managed by multiple investment management firms.
The investment officer will report to the CIO.
SCERS has a 10 percent actual allocation to the real estate asset class against a 12 percent target.
